"I am nurveen i want to share my journey.. My mum 69 yrs old suffered from brain aneurysm. Before we found about this she was constantly having high bp resulting in falls she also lost her ability to smell since 6 months. We went to several doctors to find a proper diagnosis until we did a brain MRI. It a condition that requires emergency treatment and everyday was a stressful one thinking what can happen the next hours if the aneurysm burst. We took the decision to travel to miot hospital from our home country Mauritius to do the intervention called endovascular aneurysm coiling and flow diverter. Arriving at miot hospital we were taken good care by dr arjunlockesh and his team. He explained clearly what the procedure was about what are the risks involved and reassure us that they are equipped with all high tech machine to make sure the surgery is a successful one.. And yes it was a successful one it took around 2hrs and it was a non invasive meaning no cutting of the scalp. After the surgery she stayed in icu for 3 days for intense observation with nusrss and doctors around the clock. Dr arjun was there every time and there is no words to explain how grateful and thankful we are for his magical hands. We only pray that god give him more and more energy to heal more patients.. Also want to thanks all his team and people involved during this journey. The key message dont be afraid trust your doctor and have faith.. Now my mum feel better her bp is controlled no more diziness.."

"We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Arjunlokesh N. and his entire team at MIOT International for the exceptional care given to my mother. From the very beginning, Dr. Arjunlokesh stood out not just for his expertise, but for his compassion and humility. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure, the risks involved, and what we could expect—making sure every member of our family fully understood and felt reassured. Knowing she was under such attentive and capable care gave us immense comfort during a very stressful time. The procedure itself was UFE/coiling and went smoothly, with no complications. My mom is now back home, recovering well, with all her functions intact. Best Regards, Chesika & Jugwantee Coylas"

"MIOT HOSPITAL THANKS FOR YOU Hello, my wife's eye became black. I saw her in two or three hospitals. She had an optic nerve swelling and IDIOPATHIC INTRACRANIAL HYPERTENSION. I came to MIOT hospital. Arjun Lokesh, the doctor suggested that a stent be placed. We were scared. We came back after a month. The operation went well. My wife's vision has improved a lot. Thanks to MIOT hospital."

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is interventional radiology?
It's a way of treating disease using imaging instead of a scalpel. We look at the problem on an X-ray, ultrasound, or CT scan, then reach it through a small puncture in the skin — not an open incision. We use this approach for brain aneurysms, stroke, liver tumors, blocked arteries, joint pain, and quite a few other conditions. Because we're not cutting through muscle and tissue to get there, patients usually deal with less pain and get back to normal life faster.
What conditions do we treat?
Brain and stroke conditions, mainly aneurysms. Liver tumors. Thyroid nodules. Uterine fibroids. Varicose veins. Blocked or narrowed leg arteries, including advanced cases where circulation has gotten bad enough to threaten the limb. Kidney problems, some tied to dialysis. And knee pain from osteoarthritis, for patients who've tried the usual routes and haven't gotten relief.
Is minimally invasive treatment as effective as surgery?
For a lot of what we treat, yes. You skip the large incision, the extended hospital stay, the months of recovery — and still get to the same outcome as open surgery. It won't be the right fit for every case though. We'll look at your scans, talk through your specific situation, and tell you plainly whether this is the better option for you or not.
Do we treat international patients?
We do. A few of the reviews on this site are from patients who flew in from outside India specifically for treatment. If you're weighing that option, reach out first — we'll help you sort out timing and logistics before you book anything.
How soon can you go home after a procedure?
Usually within a day or two. Some patients go home the same day. That's one of the real advantages of this kind of treatment over open surgery, where you're often looking at a much longer stay. It depends on what exactly we're treating, so we'll give you a realistic timeline once we know your case.
